The death is announced of the late Dr. Ameena Gafoor. Age 83, of Gafsons Garden, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara.
She was the wife of Sattaur Gafoor, Chairman of the Gafsons Group of Companies.

The funeral of the late Dr. Ameena Gafoor will take place on Thursday 29th August.
The body will be at the Muslim Youth Organization, Thomas Lands, at 12 noon for viewing.
Janaaza will be read at MYO at 2:30 p.m. thence to the Beterverwagting Cemetery for burial.
As a mark of respect on the passing of Dr. Ameena Gafoor, all Gafsons Group of Companies stores will be closed on Thursday 29th August 2024 (Rosehall, Canje, BV, McDoom, Diamond, Land of Canaan, Nismes and Parika).
