ANGUILLA’S SPECTACULAR BEACHES RANKED BEST IN THE CARIBBEAN

The Valley, Anguilla, January 17, 2024: The Anguilla Tourist Board (ATB) is pleased to announce that Anguilla’s stellar reputation as an unparalleled beach destination has earned her two coveted spots on the USA Today’s 10Best Readers Choice Awards.

Anguilla’s Meads Bay Beach was ranked #3 and Shoal Bay Beach was ranked #5 in the Best Caribbean Beach category. Anguilla also scored highly in several other major categories. Elvis’ Beach Bar in Sandy Ground and SunShine Shack on Rendezvous Bay were voted the #2 and #3 Best Caribbean Beach Bars. The Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club secured the #2 spot on the Best Caribbean Golf Course list, while Zemi Beach House was voted the #7 Best Caribbean Resort.

The 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest launches new categories every other Monday at noon, revealing each category’s 20 nominees. After 4 weeks of public voting, the contest closes on the 28th day at noon. The 10Best Readers’ Choice Award nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel of relevant experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from 10Best.com; relevant expert contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties. All voting is digital and the 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest is accessible on the 10Best.com website.

In further recognition of Anguilla’s beach dominance, Anguilla was also named Best Island for: Beaches on Conde Nast Traveler’s prestigious list of “The Best Caribbean Islands to Visit in 2024”, stating categorically “In a region characterized by beautiful beaches Anguilla has the best in the region.” While noting that the island boasts 33 pristine beaches in total, the magazine declared the standouts to be Cove Bay, Maundays Bay, Rendezvous Bay, and Shoal Bay.
