Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar (Woodhaven and other areas of South Queens) hosted a town hall meeting on Wednesday evening September 20 at Woodhaven Manor on 96 Street and Jamaica Ave. It was graced by top law enforcement figures including NYC Police Commissioner Edward Caban, Dep Police Commissioner, Queens Police Chief, several Asst Police Commissioners, and several other ranked officers. There were dozens of police officers in attendance including several undercover officers.
Dinner was served. The Police Commissioner was presented with a gift of a sword in a scabbard that was engraved. The PC spoke of community policing.
The police leadership fielded dozens of questions.
