In Trinidad and Guyana, etc., Blacks “think” they are not racists. They cannot comprehend their own racism against Indians because their definition as to who is a racist would not allow Africans to see themselves as racists people.
In America, a racist person is one or a particular ethnic group who has the political power that Africans do not have to impact on others, denying them equal opportunities, such as jobs, and the rights to be equal in society. Thus, in the US, Blacks define Whites as racists.
Yet, in Trinidad / Guyana, where Indians do not have power, Africans define Indians to be racist. Africans have the power. Blacks describe Indians as racist because Indians do not willingly accept Africans as Son / Daughter in laws. Indians sometimes fall for this African definition and consider themselves as racists similar to the Africans.
The logic of the African who is a racist is base on inter marriage rejection and not on opportunities like jobs, business, and community development.
In measuring crimes against Indians, the scale as to who is a racist will always be weighing Indians by the above definitions coined by the Africans.
Racism comes in many forms as in class, gender, caste, religion and ethnic alliances.
There is no vaccine for racism and one will always be loyal to their ethnic ‘ tribe ‘ to protect their cultural identity which is their right. No race has the power to force their ethnocentrism unto others.
The institutions of government protecting the constitution, courts, and armed forces to remain impartial is what will hold nations together. YOU , I, SHE , HE, THEY , WE ALL ‘ARE RACIST’ IN OUR OWN WAY.
OR IS IT REALLY RACISM?
Question – Why Blacks do not demand from other ethnic groups to intermarry – like Syrians, Chinese, Local Whites and the ‘ Martians
