It is wrong to describe Guyana PNC Member of Parliament Geeta Chandon as a slave catcher. Her crime is denouncing the racist rambling of an Africanist calling for violence against Indian Guyanese. Ms Chandon is a woman of integrity. She was a supporter of the PPP breaking from that party over disagreements in policy making and joining the AFC. She also broke with AFC over policy disagreements and embraced the PNC where she held an executive position. She resigned her executive position of the PNC over policy differences. The country stands with her in excoriating a WPA leader for calling for violent against Indians and the PPP administration.
