Guyanese and Trinidadian Swami as Special Guest at Ram Mandir Inauguration in Ayodhya; other Indian Caribbeans also invited

Guyanese Swami Aksharananda and Trinidadian Swami Prakashananda have been invited and have confirmed their attendance at the inauguration ceremony for the opening of the Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The Shri Ram murthi will be consecrated on January 22. Other invitees for the occasion include Ramesh (Mark Ramdeen), Deo and Tara Gosine, this writer Dr Vishnu Bisram and other West Indians (Caribbean people) of Indian descent.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will sit as the main shrota for the puja. Other distinguished guests include former BJP Ministers L.K Advani and Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi; both were arrested and charged on issues relating to the Ram Mandir protests, and it was their work that eventually led to the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir. PM Modi, Yogi Adityanath, and RSS Chief Mohan ji, were the main shrotas for the puja ceremony initiating construction in 2021. VHP leader Shri Champat Rai is in charge of the construction. He was closely connected to the court case to acquire the temple ground.

Water from some 160 countries, including from several nations in the Caribbean) were used in a “Jal Abhishek” (consecration ceremony on the exterior of the mandir building) last year. Dr. Vijay Jolly was in charge of collecting the holy water and for the ceremony last year at the Ram Mandir building. Deo and Tara Gosine and a daughter represented the Caribbean at the ceremony. Construction is going on a feverish pace for the opening on January 22. Hindus around the globe are urged to hold special ceremony around that time. Shri Ramesh (Mark) Ramdeen has been in the forefront of a mission encouraging Hindus to hold special ceremony to mark the opening of the mandir.
