The anticipation is high as the 2nd Annual Guyana Hindu Youth Camp approaches, offering a vibrant celebration of Hindu culture and spirituality. Organized by dedicated members of the Hindu community, both locally and internationally, this camp aims to foster a deeper connection to dharma among the youth while promoting the rich cultural heritage of Sanatan Dharma.
Scheduled across three distinct locations, the camp has already seen success with the East Bank Demerara event held on March 2nd & 3rd, 2024 and on the Essequibo Coast Camp, on March 16th and 17th, 2024, at the Seeta Ram Radha’s Shyam Mandir, Sparta. However, the spotlight now shifts to the Camp that is next on the agenda. Registration is open for East Coast Demerara Camp, set from April 2nd to 6th, 2024 to be held at the Better Hope Mandir.
The Camp promises a comprehensive experience, seamlessly blending tradition, spirituality, and fun. Participants can expect a diverse range of activities including prayers, havans, yoga, meditation, insightful talks on social issues affecting youth, engaging sports, games, arts & crafts, and as customary ProArchers Guyana offering free Archery sessions by internationally certified Coaches.
Pandit Youdishtir Lall, an Executive Member of the camp, extends his heartfelt appreciation to key individuals and the local volunteer team whose dedication has been instrumental in the success of this initiative. He encourages eligible individuals in various communities to register their children for GHYC 2024, emphasizing the collective growth on the spiritual path of Sanatan Dharma.
The camp is tailored for youths aged 5-19 and will run from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, a bag with school supplies, snacks, lunch, refreshments, and a certificate of participation from the GHYC Organizers.
