Wow. India has enough food for its 1.4 million and enough extra to feed the world. So says Prime Minister Narendra Modi to President Joe Biden.
Never thought I would see the day since my childhood when the media always portrayed India as a place of starvation and crazy holy men.
Do not underestimate this achievement. It means that India has taken its population off the starvation wagon and in essence brought millions out of poverty. It’s not as much as China, but it’s close.
Maybe Modi ji could share his secrets with Trinidad and Guyana, and let’s face it, the whole West Indies who clearly don’t produce enough food to feed their population.
