Indian Embassy in Guyana Celebrates ITech Cooperation

Phillip Alexander

An open letter to Watson Duke and Farley Augustine

Dear Editor,

Guys, if whatever is your dispute worth destroying your political careers and not only dashing the hopes of the people of Tobago but possibly handing it back to the PNM, carry on.

But if it’s not, take it down.

It’s easy to adopt a ‘not my circus’ approach but the reality is to the people looking for change from the tribal corrupt parties you are making it bad for the rest of us, yourselves included.

I strongly advise a cessation of public hostilities and a commitment to compromise that leads to resolution so that positives can come from this.

You’ve both accomplished a massive success together, and it would be a shame and a terrible waste to squander all of that over bruised egos.

I am sure you have persons you trust to mediate, so trigger that. If you don’t and you’d like any assistance from me, consider it done.

But stop making theatre for your political enemies who need you to fail so corruption as usual could continue.

Change is never easy. But once it’s coming from a positive, progressive space, it’s almost always worth it.

Best regards,

Phillip Edward Alexander
