The first time the figure of Gandhi was defaced outside the Shri Tulsi Mandir in Queens, New York. This was two weeks ago. It drew the attention of the politicians, religious leaders, and others, that protested, and made speeches. Yesterday, Gandhi’s figure was completely destroyed, knocked out of shape, and words of hate written on the public road. Who did it? We don’t know for sure but the suspicion is that it was done by persons from India, that were upset at the partition of India.
