Kamla’s Chaos and Doom

Rabindra-Moonan

Dear Editor,

Just when we thought it was safe to go outside, the purveyor of doom and gloom strikes.

Just when she thought that her ludicrous explanation for welcoming Warner back into the UNC after she summarily fired and humiliated him in 2013 was believable, Kamla has been jolted into reality. She found out to her chagrin that outside of her sycophantic supporters, no one believes her. In fact, her verbal summersaults are now legendary!

In her dying quest to remain relevant, Kamla has strapped on her guns and is now shooting wildly at any moving targets. Taking advantage of the increase in home invasions, the new incarnation of the wild west, Annie Oakley is advising victims to light up the criminals by emptying their clips, reloading, and emptying again.

Kamla’s call and her use of language are highly incendiary and irresponsible for someone who once held the highest political office in the country. It may be reminiscent of Rudranath Capildeo ‘s crazy call to his supporters in 1961 when he told them to arm themselves. It may also be a dog whistle of the infamous 1990 insurrectionist who told people ‘Do not loot.’

Kamla once more has appeared to be a clear and present danger to peace and stability in Trinidad and Tobago and has portrayed herself as one who is prepared to allow this country to sink into anarchy where people are allowed to take the law into their own hands.

Under Kamla’s leadership, this country is likely to descend into a shooting range where there will be no respect for law and order.

Under Kamla, this country will be free for all as everyone will now feel entitled to interpret the law as they think.

Chaos is the destination under Kamla!
