Let us rework the Beatles’ “Give Peace A Chance” for Christmas 2021

Beatles Star, John Lennon, sat quietly with some friends in a Toronto Hotel in June 1969 and wrote this famous song, “Give Peace A Chance”.

This song which became an international hit and some thought it would have become the clarion call to world leaders and mankind in total that it was the 20th century anthem for world peace, and that the United Nations would have totally enforced it.

Some 52 years later, even though it resonates in the minds of some peace-loving people, its content and message have been withered away.
Maybe, the remaining part of the Beatles should regroup and give it another try, “Give Peace A Chance”, because the world and the whole of mankind need peace notwithstanding — the Covid-19 Pandemic, climate control, poverty, assassinations, weak or poor governance by national governments, tyranny, kidnappings and the like. “Give Peace A Chance” must be reviewed and its words should be mediated upon word by word, and sift out its cosmic reality and cosmic representation, thereby, giving it another chance to remake it, for posterity. As far as I am aware, it is the most single and direct message for world peace in the 20th century. No such initiative either coming from the Vatican or the national cathedrals or community churches have had such impact.

Probably, this song came on the music chart too early on the world scene. Maybe, it was a warning and nobody took it seriously.
And as we approach yet another Christmas season 2021, the songs and hymns that spurt out the lips of millions of people, church leaders, have had no significance, meaning to really recite and and profess a sense of endurance, faith or the possibility that peace would finally come to this world, particularly as the Christian world pays reverence to Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.

World leaders and the network of multilateral agencies must do more than call for international peace and universal brotherhood in debates and speeches. Just keep repeating it at all times.

The world cannot continue to go on in its present state, and perhaps its eternal genesis was ignored. But, this must not or should not be the case.

There is a new and urgent call for world peace to take precedence on the agenda of all global, national or communal settings.
“Give Peace A Chance” is still the most laudable initiative to rework world peace in the minds of all peoples.

“Give Peace A Chance” must be rekindled brighter than the Stars that shone in the eastern skyway noticed by the Three Wise Men, in search for the Prince of Peace who was later found in the manger.

It is time that the whole world starts thinking about Peace…Real Peace for the eternal vigilance of all mankind. Peace, prosperity, goodwill to all men. And this must not be from our lips…but from hearts where eternal peace. must reside. Let us move away, swiftly from hate, malice, hatred, jealousy, war, discrimination now once and for all.

Merry Christmas…Happy 2022 to all.
