A Bhagwatam Maha Puran Yagya is being held at the Sudama Mandir, 114th Street between 101 and 103rd Ave in Richmond Hill, Queens, NY.
The mandir is patronized primiarily by Trinidadians although there is a good mix of Guyanese and nationals from India. The sessions conclude with the commemoration of Janamashtmi on Thursday evening. It yagya is sponsored and hosted by the membership and executives of the Sudama mandir. Pandit Seeratan of Shri Devi Mandir of Jamaica, Queens, sitting on the sangasan, officiated during the sessions.
The Vice President and Chairman of the Mandir, Shri Dilraj Batchu ji said his President and executive and Board of Directors welcome the public to the katha.
