One Cyril Walker decided to bring a crime in Manipur to the papers in GY…From Manipur to Guyana – Kaieteur News (kaieteurnewsonline.com)
What happened to those two women he referred to is a heinous crime. What happened to 40+ Hindu Meitei women in May that he also did not mention was abominable. But to infer that….”It would appear that certain types have rape and sexual molestation etched in their DNA.” Whose DNA is Walker referring to? AND WHERE IS THE EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FOR THIS WILD “DNA” ASSERTION? In his missive, Mr Walker is appealing to people’s emotions; a known strategy of those with a hidden agenda.
Now, suppose we apply what Mr. Walker said to the history of Guyana, What do we find? Does Walker remember Wismar and what was done to the females there or the mayhem following the 1997 Elections in Guyana? Cyril Walker seems to be inferring that Rape is in the DNA of those people in Manipur(India) so he is saying that it is the DNA of people of the Indian race to rape. How outrageous and disgusting is this? It will be too long a letter to explain to Walker about the many invasions on the inhabitants of India and how their females paid the highest price. How the beauty of the Indian females so intoxicated the marauding Musliminvadors (then Portuguese and British), that thousands of females committed Jauhar. They rather jump into a fire and burn to death rather than be raped (read Rani Karnavati and Padmini).

Lastly, Wismar is just one incident that I referred to here, and from then to the present day, to tell the tale of who are the targets of rape in Guyana will fill a tome. The thought passes through my mind that maybe the writer is banking on what is REALLY in our DNA….the secrecy and shame that we hide the incidents of rape and so it can maybe explain his sick projection of the perpetrator’s sins onto the victims of rape in Guyana. Whatever is his agenda, I say shame on you Cyril Walker( and the others like you) who are trying to vilify the victims of rape crimes in Guyana by taking your feces and daubing it on our Indian faces.
