Choosing to walk the treacherous path of political life,
Free of all personal attachments, he chose his fate.
No crown he sought, no wealth to keep,
But vowed, his nation’s wounds to heal.
Longing to reignite the timeless virtues of his ancestral civilizational flame,
He dedicated his life’s purpose to his avowed higher calling.
In selfless will and unwavering faith, true strength was found,
To reclaim the pride, dignity and traditions of his forebears, long steeped in pain.
Duty-bound, through doubt and strife, he marches on…fearlessly,
Building alliances on the merits of uncompromising integrity and trust.
A sacred trust, a solemn vow, he gives of himself to his nation first,
Principled-based, humble and unpretentious, he stands as a beacon of hope.
Not for himself, the road he chose, but to preserve the sanctity of his motherland,
And the right of every Indian to choose their faith and beliefs, as seekers of their
own imperishable truth…without molestation.
And, in that progressive rise of his nation’s stature, strong and free,
He has rekindled India’s destiny, not bound by the past, nor stripped of dignity…
But standing tall, the legacies of a civilizational soul renewed.
