Pandit Ram Hardowar, Spiritual Leader of Shri Surya Mandir, was installed as Dharmacharya of USA Pandits Parishad at a ceremony on Sunday afternoon April 23 at Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir on 128 Street, Liberty Ave, Queens, NY. Dharmacharya is the leader of the Hindu community. The event was witnessed by a packed mandir overflowing with devotees. Dozens of Pandits witnessed the ceremony. A panchayat of five Pandits or acharyas was also established.
