Pandit Rishi Ram of Port Mourant presided over the nightly Ramayana discourse at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Thakoordeen of South Jamaica, Queens. The Thakoordeens are formerly of Port Mourant, Guyana. The discourse started on the evening of August 21 and will continue through the evening of 26 concluding on the morning of August 27.
