President Ali: The full fledged hypocrite at the United Nations

President Ali in a speech at the United Nation call for reparation for African slavery. He mentioned Guyana will support an international summit for reparative justice for the victims. Why is the leader of a nation that had ethnic violence perpetrated by a minority on the majority calling for Justice while ignoring justice for Indians in Guyana ?. Well, he has the disease many Indian leaders suffered from, appeasement, the need to gain acceptance and approval from Afros.

Bharrat Jagdeo sat next to him during the speech, Jagdeo during his term, tried hard to gain the approval of Afros, sometimes by denying his Indianess while trying to be Afro. Remember his speech at the Indian Arrival Day celebrations ?, when he referred to Indians as “you”…you have come a long way. But when Emancipation day celebrations came around he addressed the African crowd as “We”….we have made great contributions. (we and you…he is one of them).

President “well fed” Ali came to Office when hundreds of Indians were beaten, chopped and murdered. He visited an Indian village during the violence, Bath settlement, when an Indian woman told him that African police and soldiers stood by when they were attacked by Blacks and did nothing to intervene. Instead of promising an investigation (as most heads of state in a democratic country would have done), he attacked the lady “don’t bring race into it” he shouted. To date the President or the Attorney General cannot provide an update into the investigations on the anti Indian crimes that were committed.

I wonder if the Secretary General of the United Nations ask “well fed” Ali, about justice in Guyana. “Mr Ali you are asking the UN to convene a summit on slavery, what about the anti Indian violence that seems to be prevalent at every election…what about justice for those victims ?????”. I would love to see the look on his face.
