The two world leaders — newly re-elected President Donald Trump and PM Modi — spoke after the former’s historic re-election. Trump hosted Modi in USA and Midi hosted Trump in India. The Indian PM tweeted:
“Had a great conversation with my friend, President @realDonaldTrump, congratulating him on his spectacular victory. Looking forward to working closely together once again to further strengthen India-US relations across technology, defence, energy, space and several other sectors.”
In response Mr. Trump in a phone call said, “the whole world loves PM Modi,” is “a magnificent country,” and PM Modi is a “magnificent man.” Sources said that . Mr Trump considers the Indian PM a “true friend.” PM Modi, according to Mr. Trump, was one of the first world leaders he spoke to after his victory.
Meanwhile, VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) issued the following Press Statement:
