*Keith Rowley disrespects the nation once again as he calls yet another press conference without giving details to the media and the citizens*
Keith Rowley once again demonstrates why he is not the leader that TNT deserves, as he calls yet another press conference without the common courtesy of alerting citizens as to the reason for, and content of the Press Conference.
A long series of calling press conferences which are particularly disrespectful to the media, especially those who will cover the event, because it makes them unable to do basic research on the topic that the PM wants to discuss.
It is also a disservice to all the citizens, because an uninformed and unprepared media will fail to ask the probing questions about National Security, the economy, food prices and our ailing and failing healthcare and education systems, which are so badly needed at this time.
It also unduly worries all citizens as they are kept in suspense not knowing if it’s good or bad news or a political rant, more suited for the campaign trail and not a national press conference. And because he has done this so many times, it has the effect of turning off many citizens, who tune out, which defeats the purpose of the press conference in the first place.
Additionally, this void of information creates speculation, providing the opportunity for rumourmongering and the spreading of fake news, which could all be avoided if the Office of the Prime Minister, and the Prime Minister himself, operated in a more professional manner, and showed respect for those that he serves.
Perhaps a deliberate attempt on his part to prevent hard questions from the media, and to keep citizens uninformed, it is a pattern of behaviour that no right thinking citizen would appreciate. And it is more suited for 1925 and not 2025, which by the way will soon come, so we the people can show him that we’ve had enough of his disrespect, by what we will do at the ballot box.
