Once upon a time, some 10 years ago, the Open Bible Church of San Fernando on Ruth Avenue, questioned their priest on the millions of missing moneys. This question of vanished millions boiled over onto the streets and possibly into the courts. This controversy surrounding the money began to affect Open Bible Church’s image and most importantly its membership which ultimately led to a split, with some members forming another church.
The white overseers and true owners of Open Bible from the USA returned to Trinidad and shut the investigations down and settled the case as an internal matter finalized strictly to the Open Bible Church members. This is how the Christians sort to settle their financial, legal and ethical issues, away from the governments, courts, and the public. Let’s hold in mind the Open Bible School is funded by the government and these churches do not pay taxes. Therefore, it is the business for a non-member to ask the government to do a forensic audit on such tax-payer funded institutions including even the Emancipation Committee, the ASJA board, the CONVENT schools, the PRESBYTERIAN schools or their financial dispensation.
Pundit Satyanand of SWAHA recently called for the government to look into the Maha Sabha’s financial activities on the heels of another Christian pastor’s millions came into question. Firstly, what is wrong with Hindus? Are they asking for their extinction? We have no Hindu country or Vatican or special council at the UN to protect us. If Pundit Satyanand wants to create some name for himself he must STOP piggy-backing on SATNARINE MAHARAJ’s legacy and the legacy of the Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha to build his.
Sat died a LEGEND with his legacy taking on those who stepped on ALL Indians and by extension especially Hindus. Sat was not concerned how other religious institutions spent their money. For all intents and purposes when you are always singled out and discriminated against, it is unlikely SDMS would have anything to hide. The main issue with Satyanand’s comments is that the Maha Sabha is one of the main Hindu institutions that demonstrated time after time the Indian race / Hindus can excel not only in education but in all aspects of human endeavours. It upholds not only Hindu values but carries the weight of the Hindu existence in Trinidad and Tobago and to meddle and possibly bring down the SDMS is asking for the destruction of Hindus in Trinidad and the destruction of the system that is the foundation of the Hindu resistance to conversion and dilution. Asking the PNM government, of all institutions, to audit the SDMS is like giving them a golden opportunity to shut down SDMS. However, unlike the natives Pundit Satyanand should have more commonsense and experience to know better. PNM knows Hinduism is the sustainer of Indian values in Trinidad and Tobago and would be glad for the kill.
Pundit Satyanand is not a member of the SDMS institution and has no right to call on a government that was / is always anti – Hindu. Pundit Satyanand is digging a hole for the SDMS that might end up in his hole instead. Hindus must correct their problems in their own house and not allow non-Hindus to have a say in their Hindu committee and Hindu affairs. No other religion will call Hindus to investigate their business and Hindus never pounce on an opportunity to question Christians or Muslims because fighting over religion is not in our Dharma. However, we must be wary of those who are dogmatic and intend to destroy us for their one way, one god, one ring to rule them all business.
My advice to Pundit Satyanand is to build your institution to fight our enemies who are shooting the Bible missiles to destroy Hinduism and convert Hindus. Fight against the ‘Carnivalization’ of Indians. Fight against others committing crimes against Indians and blaming the POLOURI MAN for all havoc in Trinidad. My appeal to Pundit Satyanand is: Let’s build the Hindu race or die asking others to clean our mess.
