Dear family, friends, and colleagues of Sadro Mohammed,
It is with a heavy heart that I learned of the passing of Sadro Mohammed. A truly remarkable voice in Trinidad and Tobago’s media landscape has been silenced far too soon.
I had the privilege of being a guest on his program on Radio 90.5 FM more times than I can count. What began as professional appearances quickly grew into a genuine friendship. Sadro was not just a skilled host and announcer — he was a master communicator whose warmth, intellect, and authenticity made every conversation feel meaningful. His sharp political insights were always delivered with clarity and fairness, never losing sight of the bigger picture or the people behind the policies.

Sadro’s loss leaves a profound void — not only in the world of radio and political commentary, but in the hearts of all who knew him. His voice brought insight, his presence brought comfort, and his friendship brought joy. Though he is no longer with us, the impact he made and the values he stood for will continue to resonate for many years to come.
To his family, especially those who share in the deep cultural legacy he cherished, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
May you find strength in the beautiful memories, the countless lives he touched, and the enduring pride of the heritage he so beautifully represented.
Rest in peace, my friend Sadro. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
With sincere sympathy and gratitude,
By Dr. Devant Maharaj
