Letter to the Editor
Do you prefer streets protests or violent protests? Guyanese must have recourse to voice their grievances against an African government that block and killed all avenues to the courts and constitution. Mr. Claudeston Massiah in his letter in the KN of 9th Sept 2019 dislikes the idea that Jagdeo’s PPP is planning to have nationwide country protests. On the other hand, I do support and would encourage all Indians to join in this endeavor against the African PNC ‘government ‘ that throughout history does not respect the law. As I always say the PNC – African man is NOT a super power and his ability to inflict violence on Indians will be held accountable by other forces.
Mr. Claudeston Massiah is a messiah for the PNC only, not for Indians. Mr. Massiah’s letter is threatening and also operating out of fear that street protests will lead in splitting Guyana which I support. Guyana was always divided ethnically and more so under the PNC – African rule. that Dr. Cheddi Jagan failed to see because of his Communist beliefs.
Indians will always be blamed for all the wrong in Guyana. Mr Massiah is preaching his sermon out of fear that Indians have the will and tenacity to shut down Guyana. He wants Jagdeo to be arrested for treason. Mr Massiah only recalled a bomb was thrown in his house in 1963, but failed to recall the Wismar Massacre where thousands of Indians were brutalized, raped, houses and other property burned with many killed. No compensation was made to them by the government.
I applaud Jagdeo to activate Guyanese to bring down an African PNC illegal occupation of the seat of Government by any means necessary. May I remind Mr. Massiah that it was Dr. Cheddi Jagan who was arrested by the British for fighting for workers’ rights and independence for Guyana while Mr. Forbes Burhnam was having a Sip of tea with his slave masters.
