How super retarded are most of these East Indians who purport the theory and phrase “Thank God the White Man brought us Indians to the Caribbean. If we Indians were still in India, we would be begging on the streets.” Their understanding of politics is laughable, and their grasp of history is deplorable. This kind of ignorant delusional backward thinking is exactly what a British education can do with an Indian mind.
In my entire life I have never heard an African say “Thank God for slavery” or we Africans would still have been in the jungle.” These delusional Indians must apply and engage their brains and ask the following questions: what was happening in the Americas and India before saying “Thank God we have doubles in Trinidad and Mercedes Benz and how great is the British.”
Why Indians migrated to the Caribbean and other parts of the globe from India during the colonial times [same for China and Africa] can be compared to the similarities as to why many Indians also left the Caribbean to go to North America and Europe. It all has to do with political, economic, social and in some cases brutal oppression. In Guyana, more so than Trinidad, African-Guyanese leaders created conditions to frustrate the Indian population to migrate to North America for ‘golden opportunities.’
In India, before the Arabs came in ca. 1000 A.D. and then the British came, the Indian economy was about 30% of the world economy! The Arabs carted off loads of precious jewels, gold and other treasures after destroying thousands of Hindu temples. Ali Baba had found the Cave of Wonders in India. In 1750, by the time the British / Europeans (like the Portuguese who enacted genocide on the Hindus in Goa) came to India the Indian economy was still striving with a GDP of 27% of the world economy. The results of these two conquerors were enormous. The British created starvation, breakdown in farming and caused millions of Indians to die. They purposefully destroyed India’s economy and industries so the raw product produced in India could then be sold to the colony in India and they could make millions. It forced Indians to migrate to other parts of the world including the Caribbean.
So, when these senseless Indians say ‘Thank God ‘ the White Man brought us to Trinidad and Guyana, they [ Indians] also saying thank God Europeans came and killed millions of Indigenous people to clear the playing field for their stunted coolie minds to scratch some more. I am not even speaking of the average Indian selling doubles somewhere. I am referring to our great and holy doctors, lawyers, engineers and uncultured spawns who walk around with big time degrees and know nothing. They are like Shvetaketu in the Chandogya Upanishad who had returned home after 12 years of studying, his academic knowledge was impressive, but his understanding of certain realities was lacking. We Indians are severely lacking political understanding. Who thanks God when the British left India in 1947 India’s global GDP was reduced from 27% to 3%?
Today India is the 6th largest world economy. West Indian Indians are still running from African oppression socially, economically and otherwise in Trinidad, Guyana and Suriname to North America are saying: “Thank God again for the kicks, we would never have a house in New York and making US Dollars!”
This Thank God will NOT STOP unless Indians in the Caribbean have their own state and flag. Thank God I am writing this article. AND THANK GOD THE EUROPEANS BROUGHT INDIANS TO THE CARIBBEAN OR ELSE IT WOULD HAVE REMAINED STAGNANT.
