Christmas is not about good defeating bad or evil. Christmas is about the birth of Jesus, the Lord
And Saviour of Christians. Christians light up the environment, share gifts and glorify the birth of their Lord Jesus Christ.
Christ as the Lord and King – never defeated in war by any King or Emperor either in the Roman or the Byzantine periods. Instead, sadly and ironically, Jesus was crucified by a Roman emperor. Eventually, it can be argued that spiritually Christ won the war of love through his teachings. Unfortunately, Christianity is spreading globally by force and trickery.
Hinduism, unlike Christianity is about the festival of lights -Deepavali- the sharing of gifts and sweets and the defeat of good over evil.
When Hindus celebrate Deepavali they celebrate how our Lord and King Rama of Ayodhya defeated the evil King of Sri Lanka, Ravana, by spirituality and battle. Our Hindu King was not destroyed by anyone and that is why the Hindu race of today will prevail only
if we Hindus take a cue from our Lord and King Ram.
