May 25th is observed as Narasingh Jayanti or the manifestion of Bhagavan Vishnu as half-lion and half -man. Hirankashipu was a demonic King who declared himself Bhagavan and got his entire kingdom to worship him as the Supreme Being except his son Prahalad. After failing to get his priests to convince his son that he was God, Harankashipu condemned his son to death. After several assassins failed to kill Prahalad, Hirankashipu took it upon himself to execute his disobedient son. Prahalad, weak and helpless, took refuge in Bhagavan Vishnu, who, taking the form of Narasingh or man-lion, killed the evil king.
Sri Krishna said in Bhagavad Gita that whenever the world is threatened with evil he takes avatar for three reasons: to protect his devotees; to destroy evil and to re-establish dharma. But why Bhagavan Vishnu had to take avatar 24 times in India? In other parts of the world He sent his Son and prophets to get the job done but in India he does not risk it with anyone. It could be that the task is too overwhelming that He has to come himself!
Amidst the COVID 19 pandemic there is the release of a toolkit with instructions to label the corona virus Modi virus or Indian virus and tarnish the image of the country internationally. Another issue amidst the pandemic is the defiance of Covid 19 protocols by farmers’ groups in the Punjab and Haryana. The farmers’ connivance with the opposition parties and Twitter to derail the Narendra Modi government is mind boggling to the vast majority of Indians!
With such recklessness prevailing in the country, it is certainly too much for good people to handle. It is in situations like this that Bhagavan Vishnu takes avatar to protect the people. The evil that prevails in India is too much for the average citizen to overcome.
Ravana and his cohorts forced Vishnu to take incarnation as Sri Rama. The same can be said about Kans, Duryodhana , Dushashana and Shakuni. Their evil was so great that without the presence of Sri Krishna, Drupadi would have been dishonored and the Pandavas would have lost the war. Even Arjuna, the greatest warrior of the land, felt defeated before the start of the war, after a close up view of his evil opponents.
Bhagavan Narasingh’s birthday (May 25) coincides with the pains and hurt that the people of India are enduring from opposition forces which are in league with foreign nations and groups whose singular objective is to remove the BJP and replace it with a puppet government.
Bhagavan Narasingh is the rising force of the Indian people to stand up against this evil. The intervention of the police to investigate the toolkit and ensure that Twitter abide by Indian laws, is proof of the manifestation of Narasingh Avatar amongst the people. The Indian people are now demonstrating to the world that they embody the spirit of the avatar, that is, the power to muster the courage to solve their problems.
Francois Gautier, a French journalist living in India, has lamented the unpatriotic attitude of India’s educated elite. The work of the RSS, the BJP and other patriotic forces has changed that discourse. This was well demonstrated by the reconstruction of the Ram Mandir, the removal of Tripple Talaq to bring Muslim marriages under a common civil code and the removal of Article 370 to provide equal status to Kashmir within the Indian Union.
In the ongoing investigation into the toolkit and the failure of Twitter to comply with the law, the Opposition Congress Party and their sidekicks opted to side with Twitter. Never mind that Germany, Singapore, UK and other countries have fined Twitter for not complying with regulations, the Opposition Congress has chosen to give Twitter a pass while scolding the BJP Government for doing what is lawful.
Now that new findings are revealing that the pandemic was a result of bio-weapons released by a hostile neighbour, it would be interesting to see if the opposition forces are going to change their tune and stand behind the government.
The evil Indian has turned out to be a blessing. His evil has kicked into action the nation’s defense mechanism. Indians are fed up with the Gandhis and their handful of chamchas becoming obstacles to the nation’s rise. Too impatient to wait on an avatar, they have now embodied the spirit to fight the evil forces that stalk Mother India.
