Don’t Tote, Vote & The Bull Full…of BS

What is that, what does it mean in basic English? This is a party that is definitely intellectually bankrupt yet it has Moonilal who is supposed to be glib, Meighoo who is some kind of Ph. D scholar and the leader herself who claims she taught English at Mona and ascribes to herself the honour of being the brightest person in this party (of IQ-challenged sycophants).

In the past, when strategy was pre-eminent, one was urged to not just go and vote but to pick up one’s neighbour, anybody and everybody, the sick and lame even if you had to “tote” them on your back so they could vote. The message was diametrically opposite to what is being said now. Now they are saying don’t tote, vote – which essentially means just you go and vote, don’t bother to carry, to tote, anybody else even if your car is empty.

What kind of mobilizing strategy is this? Previously, they had come up with another stupid slogan that reeked of kindergarten-level intelligence. An emerging problem in this country is one where “poets” are proliferating once you could rhyme “Dan is the Man in the Van” or the “bull is full”. Sparrow made a mockery of author Cutteridge for rhymes like that he used to educate West Indian children – with rhymes that had no reason. Obviously, Kamla was a victim of Cutteridge’s policy to corrupt the minds of readers of his books and which not only explains her outrageous sloganeering ideas but her O, Lord, obscene pronunciation of simple words: People, able…makes it as painful as teeth-pulling to listen to.

One remembers with poignancy when Panday’s oratory was good enough to have me and others travel long miles – Princes Town to Grande – just to get an encore of his repeated speeches only because his oratorical style was of listening to Richard Burton imitate Mark Anthony while Kamla couldn’t step into Nicky Cosby old shoes.

Every election season she boasts of the long hours she spends screening candidates when all she does is select the same ole. See Princes Town for evidence. Her words are reminiscent of the proverb, baskets don’t hold water. Gowrie Roopnarine and Latchmie Ramdan have done nothing for the areas that elect them yet you know their names coming up when candidates are called.

The same is going to be for the GE: She is going to cry how she got no sleep while we know even now Padarath is already chosen reducing the whole screening process to just one big farce to fool her fools.

So don’t tote even those who want a ride to vote. Remember Kamla says so.
