Guyanese pilots JetBlue flight #1965 to homeland Guyana

Journalist Tanjerine Clarke reported in Caribbean Life that Guyanese born pilot, Haslyn Peters, piloted a Jet Blue flight to Guyana on on Feb. 23. She stated he  made history on his maiden voyage to his homeland Guyana as first officer, just three months after joining the giant airline carrier JetBlue. Congratulations to Captain Peters who shared his story with Ms. Clarke.

In Guyana, he met President Irfaan Ali, Minister of Tourism Industry and Commerce, Oneidge Walrond, Chief of Staff Guyana Defense Force, Brigadier General Godfrey Bess, and Dr. Pauline Yearwood, program manager of Transportation (CARICOM),
