PNC loyalist Mr Hamilton Green in his letter in KN of 12/ 2 / 21 titled ” the President must deal with this matter” referring to Minister Mr. Charles Ramson alleged racial statementes were made in an already polarized Guyana by primarily blaming PPP apaan jaat politics of the 50s and 60s.
Least it should be forgotten it was Mr. Green who was actively involved in fanning the flames of racial conflict in the 1960s when his role in the X 13 plan became public knowledge .In that plan (Google Guyana under siege X 13 plan Hamilton Green ) it was reported in the same X 13 plan that ” One day during the month of May, 1963, a meeting was held at Congress Place between 11.00 a.m. and 2.00 p.m. by the L.F.S. Burnham, Claude Graham and Hamilton Green. At the meeting it was decided to use explosives on all Government buildings, the latter being the Government Ferry Stelling and the Government Produce Depot, Lombard Street.” Georgetown.
Mr. Hamiliton Green then Mr. Mohamed Bilal – a name of convenience and hypocritical conversion to Islam -continues his own racial political landscaping by blaminig the PPP – alleged apan jaat policy ignoring the first electorial political sin in Guyana was the PNC rigged refferandum.
Mr. Green racial prognostication of who suffered more, the Indians or the African is explained that Blacks cleared the grounds with their hands and that no machines were available in Guyana and Indians benefited from the African, blood and sweat. So what? Didn’t others also benefit from that sacrifice?
Mr. Green does not see his own racial polarizing by using Afrocentric ethno narratives to judge others suffering especially Indians. Mr. Green and other Afro – centric activists in Trinidad / Guyana like scaling down Indians suffering to legitimize their claim to ownership to these countries.
Mr. Green wants to claim ownership of Guyana for Africans by their suffering, but his claims that Africans never show hostility towards Indians is questionable.
On the question on blood , sweat and tears 132 years after pre and post emancipation and 28 years after independence ie 132 + 28 years = 160 years- Africans in Guyana were well established up to today in all governmental institutions eg armed forces, post offices, teachers, hospitals and were no longer creating wealth as slaves . Who was paying their salaries? Indians were still sweating in the sugar, rice and other field work in Guyana for the past 160 years after emancipation. Therefore I am asking Mr Green who was paying their salaries? Meanwhile can Mr. H. Green be so kind to tell us if Africans are so grounded by high good African morals , why Indians are always victims of African violence?
As a matter of fact the Ameridians benefited from no one, They lost their lands. And Indians became the new form of African slavery even today.
Since Mr. Green and others like him seek the ownership of Guyana for Africans, I endorse Mr Eusi Kwayana’s advocacy for the partition of Guyana.
