For the first time India has called out the US for its continued interference in its domestic affairs. External Affairs Minister Dr Jaishankar did not mince his words when he said that the western interests are colluding to shape the narrative in India from the outside after failing to do so from the inside.
The intolerance of the west starting with the Greeks and the Romans was manifested in invasions. One cannot fail to mention the quest of Alexander of Macedonia to conquer the world but died in the process. The same can be said of the Romans who divided the world into civilized and barbarians. Everyone who resisted the Roman hegemony was branded a barbarian with the right of the Romans to conquer their territories and enslave them. Even among the Israelites, the society was divided into Gentiles and Jews.
Today, intolerance, disguised as liberalism, aims at creating chaos in conservative societies so that the western powers and their allies can take control. Despite their efforts both within and outside India, these powers are fast losing the narrative in India.
The Muslims are not friend of the western powers. History has proven that there is no compromise wherever Muslim are in the majority. Their singular goal is to obliterate all competing interests and ideologies- democracy, human rights, diverse religious and cultural practices, and customs.
The Indian experience has been invasions by Islamic hordes from the Middle East and Central Asia. However, after settling and ruling India for centuries, Muslims found it impossible to live with their Hindu neighbors in a Hindu majority India in 1947 and opted for partitioning of the country with the help of western powers.
In southern India the Nizam of Hyderabad ruled a territory that was 80% Hindu. All the jobs in the army and civil service were reserved for Muslims, both local and foreign. When independence came in 1947 the Nizam wanted to join with Pakistan against the wishes of the people. To engender his plan, the Nizam hired the Razakars, a band of dedicated fighters, to stem the tide of resistance. The ongoing massacre of opponents to the Nizam by the Razakars forced the intervention of the Indian army to save the day.
This inability of a majority Muslim population to live with minorities was demonstrated more recently in the genocide of Hindus in Kashmir in the 1990s. More incriminating was the effort of the Muslims to deny that such a massacre took place. Most damning was that Kahmiri Pandits were living as refugees within India and efforts to rehabilitate them in their homeland was met with strong resistance. This was a clear demonstration of a Muslim majority at work!
Muslims, Christians, Communists, and western powers are today riding the wave of liberalism to protest the BJP rule in India, Moreso, they have gone on to label the Indian government as fascist and Modi as a Hitler. More alarming is the fact that these anti-Indian forces are coalescing with academics and editors of western media houses. The reality on the ground is that the BJP rule in India has no resemblance to any macabre and horrendous acts against minorities.
In Kashmir, Lebanon, Bangladesh, and Pakistan the Muslim majority demonstrated no tolerance for the minorities. In Kerala Muslims are now 40% of the population and there is no peace on the streets. Funded by the Middle East, the PFI, an anti- India Islamic radical group, has been engaged in many nefarious activities including murders, rapes, drugs peddling, not excluding money laundering. The anti-social activities of the PFI have left the police no choice but to crack down on the members of this outfit.
The failure of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) to call out China’s abuse of its Uighur people has exposed the hypocrisy of Islamic leaders. Despite incriminating evidence of persecution of the Uighurs by the majority Chinese, the fifty-seven (57) nation strong OIC has, until now, not condemned China’s human rights abuses.
The Arab world must answer why refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, and other parts of the Islamic world head toward the West and not the Middle East including Saudi Arabia? The Rohingya refugees from Myanmar are provided shelter in Bangladesh but not in the Arab world which is more prosperous and underpopulated. The truth is the Middle East is not interested in their welfare beyond building a mosque and using them in proxy wars.
The recent meeting of Muslim leaders and the RSS Chief in India is symbolic of the future of India. India is a rising global power and the Muslim leadership is recognizing this reality. With neighboring Pakistan and Afghanistan experiencing failing economies and ongoing social unrests, progressive Muslims are demonstrating that they are willing to work with government and people of India for a brighter future.
