The world watched on TV in awe as India made its presence on the moon with the soft landing of the Chandrayaan 3, joining an elite group. There were celebrations everywhere. The diaspora tuned in everywhere including the Indo-Caribbean diaspora as the spacecraft landed on the south pole of the moon. India scripted history becoming the fourth nation to land on the moon. India is the first nation to land on the South Pole of the moon. The Indian flag flies on the spacecraft that landed on the moon on Wednesday morning August 23 around 8:30.
