New York State Senator Joe Addabbo Jr. graced Gopal Sundar Mandir during Sunday morning services on September 10. Addabbo is the son of famed late Congressman Joe Addabbo Sr. Addabbo Jr. has been serving in the NY legislature for almost two decades.
Gopal Sundar is located at 102 Street on the corner of 101 Ave in Richmond Hill. The mandir held a nightly weeklong Yagya that started on September 4 evening and concluded on Sunday morning September 10. It coincided with Janamashtmi, Lord Krishna’s birth anniversary which was observed on September 6.
The Sunday morning service was graced by the Dharmacharya Pandit Ram Hardowar and several other Pandits.
