Dear Editor,
Knowers of the Vedas are classified as Vipra. And Vedas cover every range of humanity, from Anthropology to Zoology. There are those who only know one topic or section or segment of Veda. There are still known as Vipra. There are those who are polymath and they are classified by a special name, Rishi. A practitioner of Vedas is called a Yogi. While those with theorical knowledge and practical experience are called as Swami.
Viper is snake who lies in wait for any victim to come his way. They are numerous among community and political leaders and religious / spiritual figures, waiting for them to slip up and then they strike with impunity against the very hands that feed them.
Such vipers are known to be keyboard warriors or armchair advisors. They shun and abhor the trenches where the real battles are fought. They are quick to point out every fault under the Sun, and manufacture all conceivable excuses to maintain a failing status quo. These vipers know more than Encyclopedia Britannica and have telepathic access to the world wide web.
Vipers will never sign a petition, never attend a protest, rally nor pen a letter to the editor. Yet are most vociferous in calling for change and denouncing all who try to make a change against what they (vipers) desire.
Yours truly,
