PEP SAYS THEY BOTH PNM & UNC GUILTY AS SIN in Trinidad

Phillip Alexander

MEDIA RELEASE * PUBLIC RELEASE * PEP SAYS THEY BOTH GUILTY AS SIN

KAMLA Persad Bissessar is being disingenuous with her pious rending of garments and telling of facts and she knows full well that, while the PNM government made an absolute mess of the prosecution including what appears to be a conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and misbehave in public office, the UNC’s hands are not clean and that rotten stench that fills her nostrils harkens back to a time when she had to fire her then Attorney General, Minister of National Security and other ministers when the swirl of allegations of high level misbehavior threatened to tear her government apart.

That she did not stand and defend Anand Ramlogan then and chose instead to fire both him and others and sent them to wander the political cemetery suggests that she knows that there is much more for her to address than Faris’ failure to prosecute this matter, and the country should be reminded that her government’s misdeeds dirtied even the reputation of the office of head of the Police Complaints Authority and the telling of this story from either side shows the country why neither the PNM nor the UNC should ever be trusted in the corridors of power in this country ever again.

Yes Keith Rowley and his government should be fired immediately and steps taken to vote into Office persons disconnected from those two corrupt and deceitfully dishonest political parties, persons who could be trusted to undertake enquiries to ascertain all who from both sides should be prosecuted for crimes against the state.

As is usual with these two fronts of the contract mafia, every time they move they damage the country further, cost the taxpayers more, and the justice system during all the time that they both presided over gets a little more damaged and appears a little more sullied by each PNM UNC experience.

I call on the people of Trinidad and Tobago wary of these two parties and weary of their shenanigans to open their eyes and see why every calamity that befalls this nation could be laid at the feet of both Kamla and Keith, and to ready themselves to exercise their democratic duty in defense of this hobbled and limping democracy, and fire the incestuous twins of indecency, political banditry, tribal division and corruption.

Neither arsonist should be trusted with the much needed water of our salvation. Trinidad is not a bone for two rabid political dogs to fight over. it is time we did better.

The start of everything we want to be as a country begins with the firing of all forty one in that Parliament and the establishment of good, honest, transparent and responsive governance to lead us to sanity through this quagmire of decades of red and yellow dishonesty.
