Volda’s Controlled Tests Release Kill Guyanese; Why are Corona Test Kits kept at PNC Headquarter?

Volda-Lawrence

Guyana’s former Health Minister Volda Lawrence has instructed that all Corona Tests results must go directly to her rather than to the doctor of the tested patient or to their family for proper decision-making. As a result, right care could not be administered timely to those who have the Covid-19 virus to save their lives or stall the spread of the dreaded disease. Volda has no medical training and no legal authority to make such critical life and death decisions for those who got tested. Volda manipulates the information for sinister purposes including a possible genocidal agenda.

In all other countries, Covid-19 tests’ results go directly to the doctors of those tested and to the patients. And when blood tests are conducted or X-Rays taken in Guyana, the results go straight to the medical practitioners to plan an expedited course of treatment.  But for Corona tests, there is a departure from the norm. Volda wants to control the information that goes out. Patients died because of this idiotic policy. Volda is liable and must be brought to book for the deaths of people. Had the information reached the families or doctors of the victims, they may well have survived. Controlling information is costing too many lives and aids the spreading of the virus resulting in a pandemic in Guyana. When information goes right away to family members and the attending doctors, people would be advised to take appropriate precautions to stop the spread of the disease. Withholding information that legally and morally belongs to those tested is criminal and appropriate actions must be taken against those who did not inform the victims of the findings of the tests. Isn’t legal action necessary? Shouldn’t the state be sued?

Separately, reliable sources say the Covid-19 test kits (the tool used to determine if people have Corona) donated by various international agencies have been kept at Congress Place, the headquarters of the PNC. These test kits are public property; they don’t belong to the PNC. Why are they stored at PNC headquarter? They must be stored in the medical lab where the tests are administered. Tests must also be made available to private labs to speed up the process of determining Covid-19 cases. Government medical system is woefully inadequate to efficiently conduct tests on the large number of suspect cases.

Meanwhile, urgent steps need to be put in place to inform doctors and families of those tested positive for Covid-19 so they can prescribe a course of remedy to prevent death and or the spread of the virus. In all other countries, swift action is taken after a person is tested positive for Corona – family informed, patient isolated, medicine administered, and family members quarantined. Guyana is departing from the world standard.
