Hindu temples have been facing a sleuth of attacks (vandalism) in USA and in Trinidad and elsewhere. The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) is holding an important webinar addressing this issue. The HAF’s leadership is inviting the leadership and members of temples to join this important webinar.
The organization notes that “there is a nexus of forces attacking our community. … Our goal is to make you hyper aware of the growing set of challenges that Hindu Americans and our institutions face and what we need to do to counter it”. |
| The HAF issued a release:
“Hindu temples are facing a string of vandalism – most recently in New York and California – and there’s a disturbing trend of law enforcement agencies, particularly federal ones, refusing to take these attacks seriously. … When Hindus report the crimes, federal agencies chalk them up to intercommunity dynamics or political disputes. In reality, the motivation is religious hatred for Hindus”. |
