Blaming history for the failure of the Democrats to win the elections in the US is the explanation of Clyde Weatherhead in a letter to the Express dated 8/11/24. He went on the compare the victory of Donald Trump to the rise of the Nazis in Germany and cited propaganda and the greed of supporters of Trump as the reason for his victory.
Does Weatherhead support the Woke ideology that advocates equal sharing of resources irrespective of inputs? Wokeism has made its followers buy into a narrative of entitlement. How does Weatherhead explain the failure of Democratic districts where African Americans are in power? One African American commentator lamented that not a single district headed by an African American is a success story and cited crime, corruption and mismanagement as the reasons for such massive failure.
African males and other ethnic groups including the Arabs, Indians and Hispanics have voted for Donald Trump demonstrating that they have weighed their options before casting their ballots.
Weatherhead must come to the realization that Wokeism is misleading as the Democratic Party is promoting proxy wars and the overthrowing of elected governments as was done in Bangladesh. Does Weatherhead support the killing of Hindus and the burning of their homes and temples in Bangladesh? Kamala Harris as Vice President has aided and abeted in these heinous crimes.
The Democratic Party is like the PNM with big business creaming the economy, the lower classes on welfare and the middle class abandoned to pay high taxes and suffer crime and other evils. If Weatherhead is not happy about Trump victory, then he must be rooting for the PNM to continue in power.
While Weatherhead always thrive to present himself as anti-PNM, his rhetoric against Trump betrays him.
I welcome the victory of Trump. It is the death knell for the left liberals who parade as keepers of the conscience when in reality they promote a culture of entitlement, racism and economic backwardness. It is the ideology of the lazy and the American people have said in this election that they have had enough.
