ICDN is dedicated to publishing items about all aspects of the Indo-Caribbean experience — culture, history, religion, cuisine, heritage, among other aspects in the region and the wider world.
The objective is to enhance our own, and the public’s understanding, of the Indo-Caribbean social, cultural, economic, and political experience and humanities as well as the arts.
Our aim is to critically examine and assess the role of Indo-Caribbean people to make them more responsible and tolerant global citizens.
We wish to contribute to the growing sense of pride and awareness in being of Indian descent, and to facilitate meaningful relationships and constructive networking with other racial and ethnic groups in the society.
Our vision is for this forum to serve as a vehicle for self-expression and positive leadership in the Indian Diaspora. We envision a future that will recognize, respect, and incorporate positive elements of Indian Caribbean people and equity for all. Our vision is to for individuals, groups, organizations and institutions to honour ethnic diversity, equity and harmony.
