The Maharshi Dayananda Gurukula held an outdoor open havan service in front of the mandir at 150th Street and 93rd Ave on Sunday April 2 to observe the 148th anniversary of the founding of Arya Samaj. Incense and samagri and sweet smelling wood and other items burned in a huge havan kund. Services were presided over by Guru ji Dr Satish Prakash, founder and Spiritual Leader of the Gurukul. Youngsters spoke on the life of Swami Dayanand.
