Dear Editor,
Dr. Dhanpaul Narine continues to read books to Indo- Guyanese children in NYC that the rights they enjoy and the success of the Indo – Guyanese people are owed to African Americans who fought during the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s. Dr Dhanpaul wants Indo – Guyanese children to appreciate and be thankful to Black Americans.
While I agree with this character that Indo – Guyanese should be enlightened on the Civil Rights Movements these Indo children must also be schooled on the many White people especially Jews that fought for the Civil Rights of all peoples.
However, I would also be very much grateful for Dr. Dhanpaul Narine to educate Indo – Guyanese children on what were the reasons for their parents by thousands to RUSH to leave Guyana penniless after laboring in the fields with their blood, sweat and tears for over hundreds of years to build Guyana. Dr Narine should explain why they had to leave and start all over again from their basements to make themselves better again.
I would very much appreciate for this Black History Month advocate for Dr.Dhanpaul Narine to read stories to our Indo – Caribbean children that once upon a time, uncle Burnham , uncle Hoyte and the PNC kicked out our
Parents and families up the ass and forced our parents out of Guyana and Trinidad after so many years of our labor invested since Indentureship.
Isn’t it so painful that Dr Narine just cannot read short
stories of uncle Burnham and the Legacy of the PNC and the Wismar Massacre and the Buxton Fine Man Gang massacre of Lusignan peoples all with the blessings of Eusi Kayawna.
Shouldn’t Dr Narine this time around could have read once upon a time why Indo Guyanese are now living in exile in NYC. and Toronto?
