For an understanding why the narratives of communism / socialism reached the shores of Guyana is to understand the mindset of Janet Jagan and her historical narrative of her Jewishness, her people and the environment Janet came from that influenced Cheddi Jagan.

In any given environment when a particular minority race is threatened that minority race or culture has to try to change the dormant culture in order to ” Fit in” to survive. The Jewish race was scattered all over Europe, (even as far as India where they did not face discrimination) and faced insurmountable discrimination, even annihilation. They had to invent a plan to survive in Europe and even in the Americas.

Karl Marx, a Jew, had to create a narrative to change the European mindset away from ‘ White Nationalism ‘ to a more accommodating environment that made it possible for Jews to survive in the world. Karl Marx came up with his economic philosophical theory or narratives called communism that successfully changed the mindset of many people who now were accommodating the Jewish people.

In the case of Janet Jagan Jews in the USA was facing huge amount of racism and so they followed a path of communism/Socialism … a narrative that was favorable to their survival and to break or soften Northern European culture in the USA. Today, George Soros a Hungarian Jewish billionaire in the U.S. is financing any movements that is against any type of Nationalist movement or culture as in the case of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi . and President Donald Triumph who he views as a white nationalist. Jews have always been a race that is afraid of Nationalisms outside of Israel.

When Janet and Jagan had on meeting of the minds in facing discrimination in their school days in the USA made it easy for Janet to influence young Jagan to communism at a time Jagan’s mind was on reset button of decolonization. Arriving in Guyana Janet, understood that to survive in Guyana among a more dominant Hindu base society / British Guiana East Indian Association (BGEIA) she knew she had to break the mindset of the Indians using Jagan to influence Indians to adopt communism in order to fit in to survive among Indo Guyanese. Therein was a problem ideology that Jagan failed to recognize that lead to the destructions of the Indian race politically and culturally.

The PPP government which party depended heavily on Indian base vote has not even today create its own philosophical theory or narrative to keep the Indian mindset politically and culturally strong.

This guilt of keeping the Indian race mindset away from their cultural Hindology is also played out in Trinidad where politicians and the PHD – scholars intentionally keep the Indian mind weak because of the fear of Indian Nationalism. Similarly, this why Muslims in India Favour Secularism in India as opposed to Hindutva
