Not only India but the whole world has been saddened by the demise of world famous Swar Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar ji. With the passing of Lata ji, the world of music has become dull and deserted.

The people of Hariharpur gharana, Azamgarh, are mourning, making their mark in the music world. Azamgarh was the source of thousands of Indian indentured laborers. Hariharpur has established the iron of its classical music art not only in India but in the world. Padma Vibhushan Pandit Channu Lal Mishra comes from this village. The children of this village takes lessons in singing and musical instrument playing.

These people develop outstanding renditions of classical song and music.

People of this village were very sad when they heard the news of Lata Mangeshkar’s death, they say that Lata Mangeshkar ji can never die, she is immortal and as long as there is music on earth, Lata ji is alive. God needed a singer, so he called Swara Nightingale to him. A genius like Lata is born only once in thousands of years.
