Fans of Hari Om Sharan joined with the devotees of Bamboo No 1 Mandir and Bhajan singers and musicians in a concert in memory of Hari Om Sharan last Sunday.
Among the singers were Ramraj Dhookhantie, Pandit Bhudharat Yankatesu, Madan Rampaul, Jairam Dindial, and Saraswati Maharaj. Each singer rendered a Hari Om Sharan selection and a filmi hit to an appreciative audience.
A stall providing hot drinks and Indian delicacies was well patronized.
This concert is an annual event of the mandir but was suspended due to the Covid.
The funds raised in the concert would be directed to completion of wall around the periphery of the mandir.
Wayne Lachan, the president of the mandir, is ably supported by proactive executives and devotees.
“I am happy with the support we received both from the public and the several talented singers,” said Wayne Lalchan.
