Hindu scriptures warn against kaam-desires, krodh-anger and lobh-greed but it appears that Dinesh Rambally has failed to grasp these dangers. Like Ravana who despite being learned in the Vedas lived an adharmic life, so also, Dinesh Rambally has failed to distinguish right from wrong and has fallen victim to these negative values.
Is Dinesh Rambally concerned about the Hindu community whose welfare he claims to represent? Had he been, he would not have taken the liberty to appear on the PNM platform to spout venom against Kamla Persad Bissessar who has been instrumental in giving the biggest boost to the education trust of the Maha Sabha and the nation at large.
Has Dinesh Rambally forgotten the refusal of the PNM to open so many Maha Sabha schools built by the UNC on coming to power? The PNM has worked not only against Hindus but the entire nation where education is concerned. Yet, Rambally sees no wrong in such neglect of the education of the children of the nation.
As a Hindu I am finding it difficult to understand why Dinesh Rambally has supported the PNM? What is it that he wants that he so desperately needed to go this way? Is his legal practice in decline? Is it that he needs to build a bigger mansion with a swimming pool? What is it that an individual who claims to be a Brahmin wants that he has to bow his head before the PNM?
Thankfully, the Hindu community does not follow its leaders blindly and this is the success of the community. Hindus may worship the cow but they are not cattle to be herded by the likes of Dinesh Rambally for their selfish gains. Sadly, Dinesh Rambally does not seem to understand this fundamental trait of Hindus.
Hindus are followers of Ram and Krishna, Mahatmas and Rishis and Bhadase Maraj and Basdeo Panday who contributed significantly to their welfare. Not wanting to be called neemakaram, Hindus feel a sense of indebtedness to those individuals. Unfortunately, Rambally is not known for struggling for the rights and freedoms for any marginalized groups in our society. In the legal profession names like Ramesh Maharaj, Anand Ramlogan and Kamla Persad Bissessar are well known.
Nevertheless, it is never too late for Dinesh Rambally to redeem himself. Maybe it would be best for him to consult his Dharmacharya to guide him. If he does not get help there, I would recommend that he visits a pujari at a Kali Shakti Mandir for a jharay to realign him on the path of dharma.
