The most deceptive and grandiose expression made in this country is; “we will take it to Cabinet! “What/who is Cabinet? Ministers who are already seen as empty vessels, as dregs scraped up from the bottom of the intellectual barrel try to give the public the assurance that everything is going to be alright as the matter before them is going to be vetted, scrutinized and sanitized by this mythic body called the Cabinet.
You are made to visualize the Cabinet as some body of the finest minds sitting around in profound deliberation as of the Knights of the Round Table because they are all genius minds with IQs nothing less than 150 and who are thus the repository of intellectual thoughts that are transcendental in nature.
Don’t they know, we know that they are all yes men and women who when told that the bull is full they go and try to milk it via its testicles? That the Cabinet is not a think-tank comprised of the finest minds that could be assembled?
When Manning revealed that it was impossible to contradict Rowley in Cabinet when he was PM and Rowley was just a Minister, does anyone think that any of his yes people now would dare stand up and object, say, to his suggestion that we embrace Maduro and tell America go to hell; that we welcome the Sinopharm vaccine although other countries were dumping it?
Cabinet, most people know to be a piece of furniture that you have in your house to attract termite and in that context, the Ministerial one is assumed to be made up of wood lice and other types of wood slaves.
When, therefore, we hear Cabinet has appointed this committee or that commission, it is not that some exceptional body of scholars was assembled, for just as beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder, in the eyes of the IQ-challenged, anybody who could toe the line, is a scholar or skull man – as needed.
So to those who wonder why we never hear of the findings of these investigative bodies, why no one is found guilty, why no one is prosecuted and hauled before a judge, it is simply because these bodies are often peopled with toothless bulldogs whom the “Cabinet” chose in its “wisdom”.
