I welcome the announcement by Donald Trump to build a Hindu Holocaust Museum in Washington DC. It is estimated that more that 80 million Hindus were killed by invaders and rulers and that the killing of Hindus continues daily to this day in India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.
Ethnic cleansing came to a crescendo in 1989-90 when1341 Kashmiri Hindus were murdered, and a further 350,000 to 400, 000 had to flee the valley. Properties left behind were occupied by Muslims while others were sold by unscrupulous vendors with the connivance of the leaders Jammu and Kashmir.
Media houses and politicians, in India, fearing a backlash from Islamists, were silent on those atrocities. Calls for a Commission of Inquiry into the genocide felt on deaf ears and even the courts refused to sit on the issue citing time lapse. For more than thirty years anti Hindu forces in Kashmir derailed all attempts to redress this wrong.
The Kashmir Files, a film by Vivek Agnihotri, has ignited discussions in talk shows and social media on the atrocities committed against the natives of the valley. The film succeeded in awakening the consciousness of India, but the Muslim leadership and its political allies including the Indian National Congress are in denial of any wrong committed. Initially, many spread the propaganda that the Kashmiri Hindus left their homes voluntarily!
Vivek Agnihotri has not given up in his mission to expose the crimes of Islamic terrorists in the Kashmir Valley. Recently, Agnihotri visited the British Parliament where he highlighted the atrocities committed against the Hindu minority and won the support of Lords, Baroness, Councilors, and Mayors.
Hindu genocide in India began with the invasion of Sindh in the 6th century by Muhammad bin Qasim. Between 712 -1857 several Muslim dynasties ruled India until the last Mughal ruler was routed by Shivaji Maharaj of the Maratha Empire. During that long reign untold atrocities were committed against Hindus: killing of Brahmins and warriors, destruction of universities, libraries and more than 40,000 mandirs including 1000 temples in Banaras alone.
These crimes were documented by historians/chroniclers that accompanied the invaders. The following are records of two Islamic historians: Hasan Nizami, 13th C Historian– “Muhammad Ghori revived Jihad in Hindoostan, at Ajmer, he destroyed the pillars and foundations of the idol temples and built in their stead mosques and percepts of Islam, the customs of law were divulged & established.”
Ibn Asir– “At Aligarh, 3 bastions as high as heaven with their heads and carcasses became the food for the beasts of prey. The tract was freed from idols and the foundation of infidels was destroyed.”
“Ghori plundered Hindu treasures at Asni and Varanasi..the carnage of men went on until the earth was weary, women and children were of course enslaved…in Banaras, 1000 temples were destroyed and mosques were raised on their foundations. Brahmins were put to death. Lots of books were found but no one could explain their contents as all the men were killed.”
Hindu warriors throughout India resisted Islamic invaders. Today their heroic deeds are still remembered. Among those great warriors were Man Singh Tomar, Maharana Partap, Krishna Deva, Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Guru Govind Singh.
Hindus have never surrendered to the invaders. They lost battles but have not lost the war! The construction of the Ramjanmabhoomi is testimony that Hindus never give up. The recent removal of Article 370, a temporary provision granting Kashmiri special privileges, has now put Kashmir on equal footing with the rest of India. The recent announcement by the Minister of Defense that Pak Occupied Kashmir is an integral part of India only means that India is ready to unite the entire Kashmir under Indian rule.
It is now accepted that Hindus do not think in decades and centuries but in millenniums and that crimes committed against Indians hundreds of years ago will be redressed. Hindus globally welcome the announcement of President Trump to build a Genocide Museum in memory of the victims of jihadists in the Kashmir Valleys.
