The Indian Diaspora Council International (IDC) and its global membership congratulate Hon. Kamla Persaud-Bissessar on her resounding victory in the 2025 general elections and her return as the Prime Minister of Trinidad & Tobago.
Hon. Kamla Persaud-Bissessar’s leadership and dedication to the people of Trinidad & Tobago have been evident throughout her career, and the people have voted; they are confident that her renewed tenure will bring unity and economic progress to the nation. Her commitment to inclusive governance and the welfare of all citizens resonates deeply with the values of the Indian Diaspora.
As Hon. Kamla Persaud-Bissessar embarks on this new chapter, we look forward to the continued strengthening of ties between Trinidad and Tobago and the global Indian community. May her vision for a people-centered government and her promise to ensure that “no one will be left behind” become a reality. IDC wishes PM Persaud-Bissessar success in her endeavors and pledges our support in fostering mutual cooperation and cultural exchange.
