The Indian Diaspora Council International (IDC) congratulates the Indo-Caribbean Cultural Centre (ICC) on its 200th edition of the ICC weekly Sunday ZOOM Public Meetings viewed live and taped and available on archive.
In organizing and hosting these weekly sessions, the ICC team is doing pioneering work for the Indian Diaspora, outreaching and bringing people of various backgrounds from various countries and time zones across the globe to a single forum to discuss, debate, and inform increasing numbers of people on matters of interest.
Simultaneously, these weekly sessions are preserving and promoting Indian Diaspora history and culture to wider audiences as more people are engaged in disseminating information, histories, shared experiences and stories to increasing audiences globally. It is a welcome opportunity for sharing histories, experiences and engaging in informative dialogue.
The ICC team, led by Dr. Kumar Mahabir and ably supported by Shalima Mohammed and Shakira Mohammed, as well as outstanding moderators and technical support, deserves congratulations for engaging and connecting the Indian Diaspora to bring about more cohesiveness.
The ICC team is to be commended and encouraged to continue these historic series which are meaningful and with common ideals and usefulness.
Best wishes for continuing progress.
